1. How long have you known this breeder? ***Yvonne and I have been emailing and having phone conversations for over a year now.
2. If you have purchased an adult or puppy from this breeder, can you describe his/her over all health? ***I just went into co-ownership on a 16 week old puppy with her. The little female is from an AKC littler and she is in excellent shape. Her conformation is remarkable and her temperment in outstanding. Her coloring is black and tan and her coat has a silky quality. Her bite and jaw angle appears normal. She appear to be of good quality all around.
3. If you visited the home/kennel where the puppy/adult was housed can you describe the living conditions? Cleanliness? Number of adults and pups? ***I did not go to her home. I met her half way. Gas prices and all.
4. Can you tell me if you received the proper paperwork for your puppy/adult in a timely manner or as per the contract? ***She brought all the proper paperwork and we each signed and received a copy of the contract.
5. Do you know if the pup/adult was current on all shots/inoculations? ***She is and has all her up-to-date inoculations. Yvonne brought me all of her health records for my vet.
6. Was the adult (dam/sire) tested before being bred? E.g.. CERF, OFA, etc., ***I do not know.
7. Were you advised, either verbally or in writing about the breed characteristics, possible health concerns for this breed, or more specifically to the pup/adult you have purchased? ***Wasn't necessary. but, Yvonne offers all this information to new owners. I already have four other Chihuahuas, so I am very aware of what to look for.
8. Would you purchase from the above breeder again? ***Absolutely, have a puppy due to be born the end of march and hopefully will be picking her up the first of june.
9. Do you have any other comments? Please fell free to expand on your experience. ***I highly recommend Yvonne as a breeder. She loves her little dogs and protects this breed and it's pedigree. She is very picky who she sells to and her prices are reasonable but not cheap. Your businees will benefit having Yvonne as a client.

2. If you have purchased an adult or puppy from this breeder, can you describe his/her over all health? My puppy was 6 weeks old and in great health. Still is. Wonderful pet.
3. If you visited the home/kennel where the puppy/adult was housed can you describe the living conditions? Cleanliness? Number of adults and pups? I picked up my chi puppy at Yvonne’s residence and sat in the sunroom/waiting reception room which was extremely neat and clean. Adult dogs were not in the reception area. There we socialized with our new puppy and she went over all the health records and general care needed for the pet. She was great!
4. Can you tell me if you received the proper paperwork for your puppy/adult in a timely manner or as per the contract? Yes I did
5. Do you know if the pup/adult was current on all shots/inoculations? Inoculation record was given to me upon purchase and was current up to the time our pet was handed over to us.

7. Were you advised, either verbally or in writing about the breed characteristics, possible health concerns for this breed, or more specifically to the pup/adult you have purchased? Absolutely. My daughter had purchased two pups from her three months earlier and they are still healthy and wonderful pets to this day.
8. Would you purchase from the above breeder again? Absolutely. Yvonne is a breeder with high integrity. If anyone ever has concerns she is always there to answer questions, her dogs are well cared for, clean, healthy and up to date in all medical care.
9. Do you have any other comments? Please fell free to expand on your experience. Our experience in purchasing a puppy from Daisy Lane Kennels was the best we ever had in purchasing a puppy. We drove from the San Francisco Bay Area to Ukiah to pick up the Chihuahua puppy we had chosen on her website. She had emailed us several times with questions to make sure we were a suitable home for the puppy. (My daughter had gone through the same process three months earlier when she purchased two puppies). We sat in the sunroom and held our new pet, and Yvonne spent as much time as needed to answer any and all questions regarding care for our new family member. I have emailed her with questions in training as they have come up and Yvonne has lended support whenever we had questions.. She is so informative, kind, and genuinely cares about the puppies she sells. She will not sell them just to anyone. We send her photos every once in a while to update her on our pets life. Yvonne Metzler is a wonderful person and excellent breeder.
